Long-time volunteer with hockey, baseball, curling and community organizations . . . Commissioner of Metropolitan Minor Hockey Association and first president of Queen City Minor Hockey Association in 1980-81 before taking roles with Saskatchewan Amateur Hockey Association (Regina representative on Board of Directors, chairman of minor hockey, second vice-president and vice-president of hockey operations) and Canadian Hockey Association (director of the Minor Hockey Council, director for Centre of Excellence, Research and Development) . . . coached minor sports and served on hosting committees for sporting championships in Regina . . . independent evaluator for Hockey Regina . . . spent five years on Sask Sport’s board, including 1993-94 as president . . . first chair of provincial KidSport . . .chaired committee to found Regina Sports Hall of Fame and became inaugural president 2003-04.

Attended 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, as a judge for women’s figure skating, the highlight of 32 years of officiating that included numerous International Skating Union events that have taken her throughout Europe, Asia and North America as an ISU judge in singles and pairs skating . . . committed to mentoring and fairness, she has also served nationally and provincially on technical and advisory committees for coaches, officials, assignments, promotions, high performance, and monitoring skaters . . . passed ISU examination in September, 2009, allowing her to supervise international exam candidates and set the written examinations from 2010-12 . . . winner of 2014 Skate Canada Officials Excellence Award.

•  High school competitor at Scott Collegiate; daughters competed and coached the sport.
• Chief Scorer for 40 years; Level 1 coach who developed program for at-risk youths; on Synchro Saskatchewan board from 1973-2003, with two stints as president; served as vice-president of sports development and communications; oversees annual awards banquet, chairs Nominations and Recognition Committee, chaired Sport Legacy Committee and sits on Grassroots Committee.
• Chaired committees for 1983 and 2001 national championships; given numerous merit awards, inducted into Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame in 2008.

• Athletics Director at University of Regina since 1995, helping expand the school’s varsity program to 16 sports teams from six; university administrator since 1981; served as president of Great Plains Athletic Conference, Canada West Universities Athletic Association, and Canadian Inter-university Sport, in addition to serving on numerous committees.
• -Chef de Mission for Team Canada at 2005 FISU Winter Games and Canadian delegate for FISU General Assembly; presented at 2008 International Council of Sport Science and Physical Education conference and 2011 European Athlete Student Conference.
• Active basketball official from 1975-90 worked seven national championships and served as president of city and provincial associations; coached various sports and set up programs to develop and evaluate basketball officials; original member of board to establish RSHF
