• Graduated through Parks Department hockey league in his home city to play for Regina Pats, finishing his final junior season with 24 goals and 60 assists in 59 games; after playing for Memorial Cup finalists in 1968-69, he spent one season at University of Minnesota-Duluth before rejoining Pats.
• A smooth-skating centre, drafted eighth overall by NHL’s Philadelphia Flyers in 1971; spent parts of five seasons in NHL with Philadelphia, California Golden Seals and Detroit Red Wings; had 12 points in 106 NHL games.
• Also played minor professional hockey with Richmond Robins, Salt Lake Golden Eagles and Kansas City Red Wings, tallying 212 points in 294 minor-pro games.

• University of Regina men’s basketball team three-time most valuable player and President’s Award Winner in 2002; conference all-star in 2001 and 2002; set multiple single-season scoring records and finished career third all-time in points scored.
• Golf Saskatchewan Mens player of the year and Order of Merit Winner in 2015; Willingdon Cup Team member in 2002, 2005, 2014; two-time Regina amateur champ, two-time junior champ and two-time high school champ.
• Coached Miller High School senior boys basketball team; played volleyball and won city high school championship with Riffel; recruited for three sports by numerous universities.

• Played for Regina Pats, University of Denver, WHA’s Houston Aeros and Winnipeg Jets, NHL’s Chicago Blackhawks and New Jersey Devils; won WHA championships with Jets in 1979 and Aeros in 1975; had 285 points in 388 WHA games, 291 points in 580 NHL games.
• Pats rookie-of-year in 1969-70; Aeros team MVP in 1976-77; Jets playoff MVP in 1978-79; made NCAA’s Final Four three times with Denver, lost 1973 final.
• NHL assistant coach in Chicago, Calgary and San Jose; head coach of WHL’s Regina Pats and Lethbridge Hurricanes.

Began competing with Regina Athletics Track Club in 1992 at age 50 . . . member of Team Canada at World Masters Games in Italy (2007), Kamloops (2010), Sacramento (2012) and Budapest (2014) … also officiates local meets and serves as provincial masters co-ordinator . . . at time of induction had set 15 Canadian Masters records and three world records — a triple jump of 8.18 meters in 2013, a long jump of 4.28 meters in 2010 and a 200-meter time of 29.82 seconds in 2007 . . . among her laurels are four Bob Adams Awards of Excellence, Sask Sports Award as Masters athlete of the year (2002, 2004 and 2007), induction into the Canadian Masters Athletics Hall of Fame in 2012 and an Award of Excellence in Sports from the Daughters of Africa in 2008.

Won Ironman world championships in Hawaii for men 65-69 in 2006 (setting age group record of 11:29:29), 2007, 2008 and 2009 (lowering mark to 11:11:53) and in 2011 won 70-74 with a record of 11:14:24. Full ironman races comprise a 3.8-kilometre swim, 180-km bike ride and 42.2-km run . . . won five other international ironman events in his age categories . . . won Canada Ironman in 2006, 2007 and 2008 in men’s 65-69 and 2009 and 2011 in men’s 70-74 . . . began competing in Saskatchewan road running events in 1980 before advancing to marathons, triathlons and half-ironman events throughout Western Canada, North America and Europe . . . at time of induction had completed 17 half-iron triathlons and 20 full ironman triathlons . . . SaskSport Masters athlete of the year in 2006 and 2011 and Triathlon Canada’s three-time grand master athlete.

After playing minor football with Eastend Bombers and Campion-Dales he also played junior hockey in the 1930s and ’40s with the Regina Abbotts and Commandos and baseball with the Regina Caps and Red Sox . . . a halfback, fullback and punter, Sullivan John Glasser played in 1942 with the amalgamated Regina Roughriders/Navy squad before joining the Navy, where he continued playing until returning to the Riders in 1945 . . . he declined offers from the Toronto Argonaut and Ottawa Rough Riders, preferring to play at home in Regina for $300 per season . . . injuries hindered his career, and a heart attack ended his playing days in 1958, but in 1955 at the age of 33 he gained 500 yards on 100 carries . . . a singer of repute he also became well-known for his musical shows and as a radio commentator.
