Canadian judo champion in 1991 and junior champion in 1989, world masters champ in 2003; first female in Judo Saskatchewan’s history to attain 5th degree black belt.
Canadian university wrestling champion in 1997-98 and four-time winner at Canadian championships (1993, ’95, ’96, ’97).
Attended international competitions in both sports, highlighted by three first-place finishes in Sunkist International Wrestling championships and silver medal at 1991 US Open International Judo championships; four-time SaskSport athlete-of-the-year nominee; also served as official in both sports.
