Organized Coyotes hockey team at age 12 before playing and coaching career.
Produced shows for Wascana Winter Club and chaired 1984 Canadian figure skating championships, which spawned the Friends of Figure Skating Trust Fund.
Joined Saskatchewan Roughriders management committee in 1968, became team president for three-year term in 1979 and spent one year as chairman of the CFL’s board of governors.
Former president of Regina Riding Club, junior events coordinator at Wascana Country Club, developed Sask Derby Sweepstakes Lottery and served on numerous committees.
