- Former president and long-time executive member of Sask Volleyball; member of Volleyball Canada board of directors; volleyball official; Sask Volleyball Hall of Fame and lifetime member; Canada 125 Medal recipient; instrumental in having Regina chosen as the host city for the Womens National Team from 1983-1991.
- Stellar playing career, winning volleyball championships in Ontario before moving to Saskatchewan and forming a successful club team.
- Former president of Regina Sports Hall of Fame; host committee member or chair for numerous volleyball, baseball and bowling championships.
