Builder: Basketball
- Coached senior boys basketball team at Balfour Collegiate for 29 years, after six at Thom Collegiate, qualifying for 21 city championships and winning nine, plus four provincial titles and two LIT crowns . . . initiated Balfour Junior and Senior Basketball Classics; the latter was renamed in his honour.
- Coached community teams and set up instructional camps.
- Received multiple awards for serving on high school athletics and Basketball Saskatchewan boards.
- Won 1974 city championship at Sheldon-Williams Collegiate before playing for University of Regina.
