Coached Miller High School football team for 10 years before joining junior Regina Rams (1977-83), spending last six years as head coach and appearing in three straight national championships, winning in 1980 and 1981 with teams since inducted into SaskSport Hall of Fame.
Also coached high school wrestling before coaching sons and daughters in ringette, hockey, t-ball, baseball and soccer; teacher and vice-principal for 30 years with Regina Catholic School Board.
Received numerous volunteers awards for long-time work with Football Saskatchewan and Football Canada, both of whom he served as president.
