One of the founding directors of the Western Major Fastball League in the early 1970’s and instrumental in forming the Mid-West Fastball League in 1983 with teams from Alberta, Manitoba and Saskatchewan.
Began association with fastball as equipment manager/trainer of Regina Carlings 1968-75; coached Regina Molsons 1976-81 and also served as general manager 1982-86.
Molsons won WMFL division pennant in 1977 and attended world softball championships in Kimberley, Wisconsin, placing third, highest finish by a Canadian squad at the time.
