Amateur senior team won five provincial championships in its five-year existence, all managed by Jack Farquhar; won Prairie championship in 1932 and was runner-up in 1933, the only years with interprovincial playoffs; lost only one playoff series in five years, a 1936 interprovincial showdown against Edmonton.
Played exhibition games against Major League stars, including Hall of Famers Lefty Grove, Jimmy Foxx and Bill Dickey.
Three players were with the team throughout its dynasty: outfielders Johnny Stoyand and Joe Haberman and right-handed pitcher Swain Swainson; four-year players were first baseman/outfielder Jack Campbell, right-handed pitcher Hector McLeod and utility player Art Sihvon; other stars include Aldon Wilkie, Joe Trapp, Bryan Forster, Allan Armstrong, Cliff Hogg, Harold Horeak and Murray Armstrong.
