played for CFL’s Saskatchewan Roughriders on special teams and as a defensive back from 1972-73, including two Western finals and a 1972 Grey Cup appearance against Hamilton Tiger-Cats; completed CFL career in 1975 after stints in Winnipeg, Calgary and Edmonton

joined Regina Rams from 1969-71 and won national junior football championships in 1970 and 1971
played basketball with University of Regina Cougars, earning conference all-star status in 1971-72, playing 16 games with 200 points and 114 rebounds
