- Founder and served as president of the Kiwanis National Little League and Saskatchewan Little League District One
- Coach, fundraiser and president with Regina National League
- Initiated an agreement with Saskatchewan Baseball Association to access SaskSport funding for Little League
- Worked with Regina Little League Association to establish the credo that is still followed: No child shall be refused. They are entitled to play baseball on decent fields with good equipment and have the best coaching we can provide.
- Named Dad of the Year in 1982 by the Regina Kiwanis Club
- Baseball diamond in Kiwanis Park is named the Honourable Ken Macleod Field in his honour
- Received a Canada 125 Commemorative Medal
